Spring Breeze Brings Warmth, Cooperation Sets Sail – China-Thailand Biotech Industry Exchange Held in Guangzhou

On March 9, under the joint guidance of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government and the Guangzhou Investment Development Committee Office, the “Guangzhou Connects the World – Overseas Chinese Boost the Economy” China-Thailand Entrepreneur Biotech Industry Cooperation Exchange was successfully held on Guangzhou International Bio Island. The event was hosted by Guangzhou Hi-Tech Investment Group and organized by Bio-island Company. It aimed to deepen industrial linkages between China and Thailand in the biotechnology sector, using the overseas Chinese community as a bridge to connect global

innovation resources and chart a new course for cooperative development.

Focusing on Long-Term Outcomes and Promoting Concrete Results

We were honored to be invited to participate in this recent China-Thailand biomedical industry exchange meeting. The event brought together representatives from relevant departments of Guangzhou Municipality and Huangpu District, the Guangzhou National Laboratory, and more than ten renowned local biomedical companies, including Canton Biologics. At the same time, the Biotechnology Industry Subdivision of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) organized over 20 member companies and institutional representatives to attend. In total, more than 60 participants engaged in in-depth dialogue.

During the event, as a representative company in the biomedical CDMO sector, Canton Biologics highlighted its comprehensive capabilities and technological expertise in the R&D and manufacturing of biologic drugs to the Thai delegation. The Thai corporate representatives showed strong interest in the presentation, and the two sides held pragmatic discussions on potential cooperation in technology and capacity.

Through this face-to-face exchange, we not only gained a direct understanding of the technical strength of Chinese CDMOs but also deepened our knowledge of the actual market needs and industrial trends in Southeast Asia. This has provided new perspectives and entry points for our future expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. Building on the insights and reflections from this exchange, we will continue to cultivate the biomedical field and strive to bring more valuable content and services to our industry partners. Canton Biologics will take this as a new starting point to further promote global biomedical cooperation with innovative technologies and high-quality services.
